General
Welcome to Palm1
1.1 Eligibility: You must be a resident of the UAE, at least 21 years old, and have a valid tenancy agreement to use Palm1 Services.
1.2 Acceptance: By signing up for a Palm1 credit card or using our Services, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1.3 Changes: We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Palm1. Credit card
2.1 Issuance: The Palm1 credit card is issued by [Partner Bank Name], regulated by the Central Bank of the UAE. Cardholders are subject to the bank’s credit approval process.
2.2 Usage: The Palm1 card can be used to pay rent, make purchases, and earn points as outlined in these Terms.
2.3 Fees: There are no annual or transaction fees for using the Palm1 card to pay rent. Other fees (e.g., late payments, cash withdrawals) may apply as per the cardholder agreement with [Partner Bank Name].
2.4 Payment Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring timely rent payments. Palm1 is not liable for disputes between you and your landlord.
Rewards Program
3.1 Earning Points:
Earn 1 point per AED spent on rent payments using the Palm1 card.
Earn 2 points per AED spent on dining and entertainment (as defined by Palm1).
Earn 500 bonus points per referral (up to 5 referrals per month).
Points are credited within 5 business days after the transaction clears.
3.2 Redemption:Points can be redeemed for travel (e.g., Emirates flights), dining (e.g., Zuma DIFC), shopping (e.g., Dubai Mall gift cards), or lifestyle experiences (e.g., desert safaris).
Redemption value: 1,000 points = AED 10.
Points cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash unless specified.
3.3 Expiration: Points do not expire as long as your account remains active (at least one transaction per 12 months).
3.4 Program Changes: Palm1 reserves the right to modify the rewards program, including point values, redemption options, and partners, with reasonable notice.
Account Responsibilities
4.1 Accuracy: You must provide accurate tenancy and payment details. Palm1 is not responsible for errors due to incorrect information.
4.2 Security: Keep your account credentials and card details secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@palm1.ae.
4.3 Account Termination: We may suspend or terminate your account for misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
Payments
5.1 Rent Payments: Palm1 facilitates rent payments to landlords via the card. Payments are subject to bank processing times (typically 1-3 business days).
5.2 Late Payments: You are responsible for any late fees or penalties imposed by your landlord due to delayed payments beyond our control.
5.3 Refunds: Rent payments are non-refunded once processed. Disputes must be resolved directly with your landlord.
Landlord Partnerships
6.1 Integration: Landlords may partner with Palm1 for seamless payment processing. No fees are charged to landlords for integration.
6.2 Liability: Palm1 is not responsible for disputes between tenants and landlords regarding payment terms or tenancy agreements.
Limitation of Liability
7.1 Palm1 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services, including missed rent payments or reward redemption issues.
7.2 Our liability is limited to the amount of your last rent payment processed through Palm1.
Intellectual Property
8.1 All content on the Palm1 website, app, and materials (logos, designs, text) are owned by Palm1 or its licensors and protected by UAE copyright laws.
8.2 You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.
Privacy
9.1 We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UAE data protection laws.
9.2 By using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the UAE.
10.2 Disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Dubai.
Termination
11.1 You may terminate your Palm1 account at any time by contacting support@palm1.ae.
11.2 Upon termination, any unused points will expire immediately unless otherwise agreed.
11.3 Palm1 may terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with notice where required by law.
